This project was the largest project I worked on at Grandpa-George. I was lucky enough to work closely with Derrin on the navigation logic.
I was responsible for all the CSS and HTML and some JS and PHP work as well. This included testing in all current browsers at the time of the build.

This project was given to me to manage. I worked with Jacob Ward, who was the designer for the site. The goal was to create a more open, inviting website than the client had.
I was in charge of teaching Jacob the basics of building a Wordpress template, as well as a few advanced tips and workarounds. I designed the wireframes, while Jacob did the mockups.

National Weather Service XML
This is the first site I was in charge of Design as well as Development. I was lucky to have four months to work with this client, a coffee tour company in Seattle. The client requested that the site featured the skyline of Seattle.
The weather information was shown literally in the top left hand corner, and subliminally via the background images. The images changes for day and night, pulling sunrise and sunset times from the cities Latitude and Longitude coordinates via PHP.

I was fortunate enough to work developing this custom Wordpress theme for the Coalition Against Toxic Toys, a company that warns against the dangers of low-quality sex toys.
I was in charge of taking the design and converting it into a custom Wordpress template. This was my first Wordpress that used a dynamic two column layout. Yes for Modulus!

The layout is definitely a unique one, which gave me a lot of problems in Internet Explorer 6. At the time of the build, Internet Explorer 7 was not yet released.
Each page has a specific folder with 5 background images. Using PHP, I randomly select one of the images to display for that page. The result is a fresh user experience on each visit.

This is the second redesign of this record label's site. It is also a custom Wordpress theme. The art is as much important as the content on this site, as there is a following thanks to a "singles club" where a user can get unique music.
This site provides a new user experience every five minutes. The background is made up of two images: a foreground and a background. The background changes every hour on the hour and the foreground changes every 5 minutes.
